Welcome to 2161 Sunset Plaza Drive. Let’s take a tour of this stunning $6,495,000 modern villa, which is one of the most amazing modern homes located on famous, luxurious and breathtaking Sunset Strip. Warning: you might want to buy this villa!

Modern villa with “jaw-dropping city and ocean views”

Let’s open up with a few words from the real estate agents who offered this stunning modern villa; “Custom built by a renowned Los Angeles developer as his personal residence, this exquisite contemporary compound features an array of unique amenities, jaw-dropping city and ocean views throughout, and an unbeatable location in the Hollywood Hills above Sunset Plaza”. That’s right. Jaw-dropping city and ocean views. Even though this is nothing new for Hollywood hills, this modern villa offers interiors that are completely focused towards those views.

Let’s start our tour from the street. Modern windowless and pretty much fortress-like facade is built to offer extreme privacy, something that is a must in Hollywood Hills and areas around it. Besides, there are far better things to look at than out on the street side. A few palm trees are there to give some life to this serious modern facade. I also like how lights gave the touch of luxury and “bling” that’s hidden inside. The other side is, as usual, completely different story. It’s not the prettiest facade ever, but it offers everything you need to enjoy in those jaw-dropping city and ocean views, terraces, balconies, swimming pool and wide open glass walls.

…more views, more breathtaking stuff, more luxury…

Interiors, on the other hand, could easily fit in the category of the most amazing interiors I have seen so far. High ceilings made the magic bigger and better. Modern kitchen and dining room are placed behind terrace with swimming pool, which is pretty cool because blue lit infinity pool creates simply amazing sight with the city lights in the background. Now, definitely my favorite part of this modern villa, elevated living room placed behind the dining room, offering stunning views and breaking the monotony of a flat floor plan. The same thing happened in the bedroom. I love the fact that there’s no doors and rooms are divided simply with leveling open spaces. Gorgeous.

Speaking of interiors and master bedroom, let’s hear what real estate agents said about it in their official listing, which, by the way, you can read full here on their website; “Upstairs, the massive master suite features disappearing 12-foot floor-to-ceiling windows, two fireplaces, an enormous walk-in closet and dressing room with backup Miele laundry unit, a private media room with 120” automatic projection screen and separate entrance, and his and hers bathrooms with an oversized Jacuzzi tub. Enjoy multiple large decks with dynamic ocean views, ideal for outdoor dining and entertainment. The Poggenphol kitchen features a huge double island, top-of-the-line appliances by Miele, Sub Zero and Gaggenau, and an opposite wall of disappearing glass doors that boasts more jaw-dropping views.”

Please, take a look at the photos now and see what is so amazing about this modern villa. In case you can afford it, please, be my guest and buy it! I believe you would make James, David, Simona and yourself of course, very happy. 😉 If you want to see more amazing homes like this, I recommend you to check out this modern mansion with pretty much perfect interior and one of the most beautiful houses in the world, House M.
